ST. LOUIS (April 21, 2020) – The Doe Run Company (Doe Run) is pleased to announce the promotion of Dianne Whitaker to director of human resources. In her new role, Whitaker will lead the company’s human resources department while working collaboratively with company leaders to support the organization’s long-term business strategy. Whitaker reports to Steve Batts, vice president – operations, human resources and chief operating officer.

“Dianne brings her deep knowledge of human resource management and her knowledge of our operations and business to this new position,” said Batts. “During her eight-year tenure at Doe Run, she has helped our organization respond to changing economic conditions, develop future leaders and recruit for the future of our metals industry. We are pleased to have her take on added responsibilities across the entire organization that support company strategies.”

Whitaker has 20 years of experience managing hundreds of employees in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, distribution, health care and retail. Her in-depth knowledge of regulatory and company policies supports the company’s adherence to best practices.

Whitaker holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Columbia College and a master’s degree in business administration from Webster University.
